HoDoMS Course for Heads 2026

Following on from previous successful events in 2019 and 2023, HoDoMS invites new, prospective and established Heads of Mathematical Sciences Departments to the third Course for Heads, to be held in Cambridge in September, 2026.

Programme

A preliminary programme is here . Besides the scheduled presentations, there will be plenty of opportunities for informal discussions and to exchange experiences with other existing, incoming and prospective Heads.

Registration

The full conference package covers lunch and dinner on Monday, bed and breakfast and Tuesday lunch. There is an option to attend without B&B. Note that online participation is not possible.

This year HoDoMS made a support fund available for departments that struggle to pay for the conference; this fund is also open for applications from potential attendees at the Course for Heads. For details, please see the corresponding e-mail sent to all HoDs. The deadline for applying for support from this fund is July 6, 2026.
